Oh.....Las Vegas

My first trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Drove from LA passing through DEATH  VALLEY, that took about 7 hours ++. Temperature outside Car, jangan tanya...punye lah panas....sampai mineral water dalam kereta pun rasa macam air suam panas bukan air suam kuku...about 40% panas.

Gambar ni lagi best....just when we were about 5km to Las Vegas, kena massive traffic jam, I thought Federal Highway saja jam panjang...yang ni sampai more that 1 hour, cars not moving but stand still, sampai ramai keluar kereta and ambik kesempatan tangkap gambar...termasuk chef la....nak tau punca nya....tengok gambar bawah....

Rupa2nya ada sebuah 'Rover" macam motorhome terbakar. Tong gas dalam rover meletup...nasib baik the whole family selamat....so when we passed through, sempat jugak ambik gambar ni...so we were quite behind schedule...instead of sampai Vegas petang, kami sampai malam pulak......tapi kat Vegas, it was summer and maghrib pun lambat sikit la....

Helloooooo..... LAS VEGAS........

Here I come...

 Entering Vegas......

This is "THE HOOTERS" Hotel. I stayed at Tropicana Hotel, just opposite The Hooters.

Nak tau Hotel The Hooters macamana???? dan apa ada dalam hotel.....lain kali cerita la ok... (18SG)

Yang ni Hotel MGM, very popular.....location across  main road sebelah hotel Tropicana...................

The famous FOUNTAIN at HOTEL BELAGGIO by night, a must see one.......with Hotel CEASERS PALACE in the background....

Its quite true when people say the Las Vegas is a city that never sleep....memang betul.... I walked from one end of the famous Vegas strip (but not the whole strip), hopping from one hotel to another which were mostly connected to each other.....drinking mostly good expressos to keep me awake, I enjoyed lots of lounge musics, performances with Donny and Marie Osmond to name some.... Seemed that along the stretch people were still wide awake and minding their own business.

By the time that I realised that I need to sleep, it was already daylight......so balik Hotel, mandi and jalan2 lagi to see Vegas by day....

I had to stop just before lunch, good buffet lunch at Tropicana @USD9.90 per head, eat all you can.....so banyak makan sayur and ikan la....

Left Las Vegas just after lunch. Need to be at Long Beach, CA because I have to do a cooking demo for a small Malaysian community. Diaorang dah banyak kali called.....so to be continued.....

Hi again...this was an adventure of a life time. When you go to Hollywood, California in group, the most they will take you to will be from a distant spot to view the HOLLYWOOD sign, but I was lucky enough to have Bang Man and Kak Ana and their wonderful children to take me aound Hollywood and all the way to Las Vegas, will talk about this later. Bang Man brought me right to the nearest site at top of winding road to have these photos taken. But before that I was busy talking to 'Samuel Jackson' then 'Marylin Monroe' insisted that I take photo with her infront of Kodak Theatre Hollywood. The best part was that Kak Ana prepared super deliscious Nasi Lemak for breakfast at their home where I put up for 2 nites. Being tomato lover, habis licin ripe tomatoes Kak Ana at their garden. Kat kebun Kak Ana, semua ada, daun pisang, daun kari, serai, lengkuas, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, apple etc...etc...but yang paling Chef suka....Kak Ana tanam banyak rosmary and juicy tomatoes...

Punye la suka si Marylin jumpa Chef , dia nak jugak ambik gambar.....

Samuel Jackson marah........dia kata ko ni, suke ambik gambar ngan pompuan je....mentang mentang aku ni golap....Chef kata, ok lah......don't worry about gelap....I will provide 'reflection'...so nampak lah ceria muke Sam.....tapi perut Chef nampak bersemangat sikit dlm gambar ni....ni semua pasal nasi lemak yg Kak Ana masak pagi tu....thanks Kak Ana..
Wonderful Couple......Abang man and Kak Ana =).......walaupun dah berpuluh tahun duduk california...tapi tetap orang MALAYSIA...........Thanks bang Man and Kak Ana......I Shall Return....he..he
